The story of Give Kids the World began when a dedicated hotelier, Henri Landwirth, partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Recognizing the need for a special place where these families could create lasting memories, Landwirth founded Give Kids the World Village—a whimsical resort where children and their families could enjoy a week-long, cost-free vacation away from the challenges of medical treatments.
Give Kids the World has had a profound impact on the lives of over 176,000 families from all 50 states and around the world. The organization works in collaboration with numerous wish-granting organizations to fulfill the dreams of children facing serious illnesses. With a dedicated team of volunteers and supporters, Give Kids the World has created a whimsical village where families can stay, play, and make memories, free of cost, while exploring the magical attractions of Central Florida.
