Our Story
Ahoy there,
Thanks for sailing by! Our company was created by Kirk and Krizza - travel lovers who discovered the joy of customizing their cabin with cruise door magnets on Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Disney Cruise Line adventures.
From our very first cruise, we loved the idea of cruise door decorations - but we saw an opportunity to apply our visual design skills, improvisation background, and unique sense of humor and create something better - clever punnery, beautiful designs and high-quality prints. In 2022, Stateroom Statements was born!
Our hope is to create cruise door magnets, apparel, and other cruise ship essentials to help clever cruisers express a little personality, share in their pop culture fandom, and celebrate the joy of vacationing before, during and long after the cruise adventure is over.

Kirk & Krizza
Meet Argo
Argo the Aquanaut is our beloved company mascot. He's a lover of hot, relaxing bathyspheres, cold pina coladas and long, romantic walks on the reef. Turn offs include the bends, giant squids, and dive-masters crimping his style (not to mention his air hose). You'll find him popping up across our designs and social media.
Meet the Designers
Kirk
Kirk is an Orlando based visual designer with a background in theatre, improvisational comedy, and immersive entertainment. His favorite activities include cruising, exploring theme parks, visiting kitschy tourist attractions, and crafting homemade tiki drinks with his partner in crime, Krizza.
Krizza
Krizza is an artist and cruise fan, based in Orlando but originally from the Philippines. She spends her spare time drawing, writing, collecting theme park ephemera and exploring the world via air, sea and land with her loving partner; Kirk.
Bryan
Bryan is a Graphic Designer and artist currently based out of Atlanta, GA. He and Kirk met while pursuing a Theatre degree at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC. To see more of his work, check him out on any of his socials @cheddsdesign.
